About Red Rooster
Like most talented bands, Red Rooster's music has evolved significantly over the years. It started out as a very small, very acoustic, band of friends who thought it would be fun to take the late night, whiskey-driven sessions from the living room to the public. The band then recorded a first album, the players rotated over time, and eventually a tighter, more eclectic and experienced group emerged. The new live act consists of a core of acoustic guitar, electric guitar and a turntablist. The new album, the double-disc "Dose," is a mix of the old and new, the plugged in and the acoustic, the computer-clean and the rough-around-the-edges-soaked-in-whiskeysmoke.
